we need to get some new footballs, if we're training on astro then you need to get balls that are suitable for that surface otherwise they become a mess, we also need proper match balls, its embarassing the quality of footballs we've got, most of them are like balloons.

think we also need to train on grass asap as that astro surface isn't great and doesn't provide a proper reflection of a match day.

I agree Scotty balls are a must. There's ones there that break your toes when you kick them then others that dont have any leather.

Training was decent enough last night. Good numbers meant that we had a decent game for the last hour or so. Some good perfomances I thought too which is a boost.

The actual drills were well thought out and i dont mind them but i feel that we spend too much time standing about listening to Johnny or watching just one person running. I had started to get fed up after a while and thats not good.
Its not helped by the fact that we had 14 or so bodies and only one football that was any good. Thats shocking for any footy team. Whats the point in practising with a balloon and then playing games with a totally different ball?
If we are going to spend money anywhere it has to be on the only thing we really need to play football surely? I don't mind putting in a few quid if its what we need.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Weather forecast aint great but we need a good perfomance so I'm glad its at Pitreavie and not on the Rosyth pitch.

See you there.

we have bought 2 new match balls Smile
once training goes on grass the money from training can go on new footballs. i would invest in decent training balls but the fact that when someone kicks one of the fuckers away it is left and we end up with none. Mad .

money we have the now is for costs for next season and p.o.t.y dance.

feel free to purchase high quality balls for the team lads Laughing

IMO fuck the poty dance and get it spent on training balls.

You can't be serious saying we don't get new balls as folk kick them away, what we've got just now is not fit enough for a sunday league team and that shows how bad it is.

yeh in your opinion but some players like/deserve the dance. Some players have put alot of time and effort into this club on and off the pitch so i think rewarding them is important. We will get footballs for the new season but we have plenty just now to kick about at training. As i said anyone can bring their own ball to train with if preffered
